MEMBERSHIP: Membership in the Alliance shall be composed of the spouse, widow or widower of a physician within the 9th District.
PURPOSE: The purposes of this Alliance shall be exclusively educational and charitable. They shall be to promote health education, encourage participation of volunteers in activities that meet health needs, support health related charitable endeavors, assist in programs that improve the health and quality of life for all people, and to extend the aims and the health-related programs of the Lafayette Parish Medical Society.
ACTIVITIES: Seven general membership meetings each year. These include coffee, luncheons, and a Christmas social.
